What is Wunderfaire? a celebration of local craftspeople hosted by IDEO
Location: IDEO Pier 28 Annex The Embarcadero, San Francisco, CA

Join us for our 4th Annual IDEO craft faire
SHOP – over 30 vendors selling fine wares for men, woman, kids, your home and your dogs
EAT –  purchase yummy savory and sweet treats from one of our food carts
LIVE MUSIC – Rob Reich on accordion and Bernie Jungle with his homemade drum named "Shirly"
FEEL GOOD – percentage of proceeds directly benefit these three organizations...

Creative Wedding Party

Craft Labs hosted a Wedding shower for a dozen creative guests. We had a blast making felt creature wine toppers.

Wardrobe Redux 2012

Another successful clothing swap, this time craft labs members joined in. We all went home with bags of great new clothes. Some of us even found great shoes, comforters, and jewelry too. Tasty snacks helped keep us going.

How cool that our crafts classroom could look so much like a retail store.

Maker Faire 2012

At this years Maker Faire there were so many fun projects to try.  LED flowers, sewing a pink light into my shirt, and soldering a copper ring for the first time. But my favorite project from this years event was making this giant beaded necklace. Now to figure out where to wear it.

Handmade Paper

The first Saturday workshop at Craft Labs

Papermaking is messy but a lot of fun. It makes a highly textured sheet of paper that feels wonderful and can be used for many projects - cards, books, collages for example. Once you get the technique down, you can make lots of sheets of paper in a variety of colors.
